Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara…!!

I wish all my friends a very good morning!!

Despite being a morning full of lovely rain drizzles around us, I came across a sad incident this morning. As I couldn’t do much about it, still I just felt like sharing the incident with my friends out here..!!

So, the incident took place on the borivali east west flyover. Sitting, chit chatting, having fun around along the railings is a banal site these days across the flyover. It could have been just another normal scene today also, had there been some luck for this college going guy sitting on the railings of flyover amongst group of his friends.  Out of the blue, he fell down from the railing on to the railway tracks. I couldn’t even muster any courage to visit & check what happened to that guy, as a train also passed by the same moment. All I could do was, just pray for that guy that he wasn’t on the same track on which train was…!! People rushed to see him…!! I really am unaware of what happened then, as I had no real courage to go & look at the brutal site.

With this incident once again I myself & many others like me, would have realized life is so short. We often take unnecessary risks in life just to flaunt that we are cool enough to do such things. But we forget that life is very precious!! We should respect & live every moment of it as if it is the first & the last minute of our life. So, lets stop cribbing & start appreciating life from today onwards. It is being said that after 84 incarnations we get a life of human. So lets not waste it. We plan for retirement, insurance & other benefits for future. Lets stop doing it & while planning for our future we should remember to make full use of our present too. Kyunki, kya pata KAL HO NA HO..!!

Have a great day ahead, people!!

Have you made it Large Today??

Just saw an ad campaign of Royal Stag enquiring people, “Have you make it large, in your life? Or it’s your life, Make it Large!!” It’s so true in our real lives too. We all at times love to do so many things in our lives. But, do we really make it large enough to make it real & worth mentioning?

Quite a similar thing happened to me the other day. I love to interact with people. But, I didn’t know while in my quest for making it large & addressing a whole auditorium, it would take so much effort. So, here was I, standing in front of a jam packed house of hopeful eyes of students that enrolled themselves sometime back, at the University. I reckon it was the first time when I was on the other side of the audience. Yes, it was my addressing speech about BrahmAstra along with a few job openings, for which I was representing on behalf of one of my clients.

The session started with a few light banters & a brief humor session, thus making the ambiance of the over brimming auditorium worth breathing. It was the first time, I was left out open in front of a talented bunch of students, firing questions at me. Now, I can clearly relate to my teacher’s agonies while being on the dais. After having a brief introduction about what BrahmAstra is all about & why I am there to take their time, the session went pretty much smooth. The coordinators, the Class Representatives were very supportive & cooperative too.

What even more demanding was, a one to one session with over 50 candidates at a short span of time, after addressing the curious crowd. But as & when I kept on interacting with the future managers, I started feeling rejuvenated. It’s always good & refreshing to feel the nerves of young & promising talents. Having said so, even I am not that old, folks!! Anyways, jokes apart & getting back to reality, it made me feel that yes I can be so empathetic, understanding & at the same time can be a guide to the younger generation too. It really made my time & efforts worthy. I left the place with a bag full of compliments & handed them another bag full of genuine promises from my side, for their better future.

At the end of the day, I might be physically tired but deep down in me, I knew I was feeling rejuvenated & self contented. So Did I make it large that day? Yes, I did.....!!

Please, feel free to post comments, suggestions, critics & blessings on the blog, folks!!

A Day to Relish...

A warmest hello to everyone reading my blog!!

So, I just thought to jot down something that I really relished today. It was just like any normal day, today... And then, all of a sudden it started thundering, lightening & rains started pouring in. It was as if God want people to bunk their respective work & just sit at home with a cup of coffee to enjoy rains… And what a luck I had!! The same day, one of our prospective clients gave me a call for a meeting. It wasn’t that the time was only the thing that caught me by surprise but the venue was to the other corner of the city. The most profitable businesses approach you, when you are in a mood to relax, says the Murphy’s Law. But I decided not to say "no" to my business. It was the evening time, was raining heavily & as I am in love with my cute laptop (from here on to be called lappie) & rains as well, I decided to commute via road to ensure I make working a fun.

The journey was a hell lot of fun... And somebody truly said that you need not to be in Malaysia or Thailand or Switzerland to enjoy. After all, it’s your attitude that matters. So, here was I sitting at the rear part of the car, typing furiously on my lappie, checking out ppts & relishing the rains outside. It’s the best feeling ever one could have while working.

Since the meeting was very important, I was a bit extra cautious. First time, I felt a bit nervous for a meet… The reason was simple because the person was a senior gentleman with loads of work experience. With an adrenaline rush in myself, I entered the office & once I started talking to the 3 gentlemen throwing questions at me, I realized I am so much enjoying that. It boosted my confidence a lot.

And guess what?? I left the office with a smile on the faces of gentlemen as well as on my face along with the contract in my bag

Once I was out, I was able to enjoy the beautiful rains, even in a much much contented & better manner.
All in all, a day to relish with work, beautiful rains that also generated business. The day also boosted my confidence with such a nice professional experience!! What could one have asked more in a single day, people??

Eager to receive your blessings, comments & suggestion on the posts!!

A Rendezvous with BrahmAstra

A dream is not that you see while you are asleep; a real dream is the one which wouldn’t let you sleep!!

I was one amongst you guys, who used to get up every morning & was bound to ask myself, “Why the hell do I have to get up so early in the morning to go to a place, which I hate the most? Why do I need to toil hard day in & out to take care of somebody else’s baby? Am I getting what my efforts truly deserve? Whatever I do, end of day boss will say you can still do better!!”

It went on consistently for 7 long & frustrating years. One fine morning something struck me!! What the heck am I doing? Why am I working so hard? If I really want to slog that hard, I should do it for myself!!

With the thought BrahmAstra was born..!!

Then, the next thought was THE FEAR of being an entrepreneur & the challenges that an entrepreneur faces while the initial stages of its enterprise set up. But all through my life, I had never been afraid to take a chance. I always kept a point that the greatest failure is “not to try.” Once you find something you love to do, be the best at doing it. And I am in love with BrahmAstra..!!
