Have you made it Large Today??

Just saw an ad campaign of Royal Stag enquiring people, “Have you make it large, in your life? Or it’s your life, Make it Large!!” It’s so true in our real lives too. We all at times love to do so many things in our lives. But, do we really make it large enough to make it real & worth mentioning?

Quite a similar thing happened to me the other day. I love to interact with people. But, I didn’t know while in my quest for making it large & addressing a whole auditorium, it would take so much effort. So, here was I, standing in front of a jam packed house of hopeful eyes of students that enrolled themselves sometime back, at the University. I reckon it was the first time when I was on the other side of the audience. Yes, it was my addressing speech about BrahmAstra along with a few job openings, for which I was representing on behalf of one of my clients.

The session started with a few light banters & a brief humor session, thus making the ambiance of the over brimming auditorium worth breathing. It was the first time, I was left out open in front of a talented bunch of students, firing questions at me. Now, I can clearly relate to my teacher’s agonies while being on the dais. After having a brief introduction about what BrahmAstra is all about & why I am there to take their time, the session went pretty much smooth. The coordinators, the Class Representatives were very supportive & cooperative too.

What even more demanding was, a one to one session with over 50 candidates at a short span of time, after addressing the curious crowd. But as & when I kept on interacting with the future managers, I started feeling rejuvenated. It’s always good & refreshing to feel the nerves of young & promising talents. Having said so, even I am not that old, folks!! Anyways, jokes apart & getting back to reality, it made me feel that yes I can be so empathetic, understanding & at the same time can be a guide to the younger generation too. It really made my time & efforts worthy. I left the place with a bag full of compliments & handed them another bag full of genuine promises from my side, for their better future.

At the end of the day, I might be physically tired but deep down in me, I knew I was feeling rejuvenated & self contented. So Did I make it large that day? Yes, I did.....!!

Please, feel free to post comments, suggestions, critics & blessings on the blog, folks!!
